I finished revising the most recent version of Angel, and I sent it off to a beta reader whom I enjoy working with (very honest and thorough), and I have lots to think about.
The beta reader said – I really enjoy the concept of this story, and the writing is so humorous and engaging (which was very nice to hear).
After the first draft, I had the story read, and that reader said – It is super ambitious tackling the world-building of not one futuristic world, but two, and throwing in quantum principles, dimension travel, duplication of self, etc. When it comes to making these concepts relatable for an average reader who is new to Sci-Fi, I take my hat off to you for making the world-building so easy to follow.
There is a mountain of feedback to go through, and at the moment, I am concentrating on Golden Blood. I will work on what I think will be the final version after I finish writing the vampire story (which seems to have gotten more complicated as I thought of a new dimension to the story, and it has now gone in a different direction, and now I have to work out how to tie it all back together neatly!)
