Winter has come, and it is frigid and snowy in Southern Ontario. I am keeping out of the cold, and staying indoors watching some movies, reading some books, editing The Mistress (which will be published Feb 14th), and starting a new project – the creation of an audiobook version of my dark fairytale / fantasy story, Age of Magic.
I am working with an old friend, Magnus Lang, on the recording (he is narrating, and has what is described as a “radio voice”), and I am on a steep learning curve, getting my head around audio mastering (I am the sound engineer, and I have what is described as a “radio face”).
We have a few chapters recorded, and I am pleased with how it is turning out. I aim to have the story recorded, edited, and mastered by March, and available for download and listening.
I have included the prologue below for you to have a listen to, if you like.
Well, that’s it for January. Not much else to report. Stay warm and have fun!
