I have completed DNR – and I have also chosen a new title; The Killer Who Loved Me.
I am very happy with the story, and I am very pleased that I resurrected this one after abandoning it.
I wrote the first few chapters of the story last year, and then lost interest in it and instead I worked on Mr. Amazing. I recently re-read the chapters I had written, and I thought that with a bit of rejigging it could probably work.
So I rewrote the chapters and I started really enjoying the story.
Initially I think with DNR I tried to tell a mystery story and it just wasn’t working for me. Instead I changed to The Killer Who Loved Me and a story about people and their lives, and it really came to life.
I think that I have written some interesting characters in Detective Stella Palmerston and Aleks Davidović – and a pretty interesting and gripping story.
I am not sure when I will publish The Killer That Loved Me – but I will keep you updated here.
